Doug founded Strategic Sales Search in 1987 and has spent the better part of 30 years helping technology companies build work class sales teams. He was also the co-founder of Continuecare, which is a publicly traded medical rehabilitation and staffing firm. From the beginning Doug and his team have been a force in the technology recruitment world placing some of the top sales, sales support, leadership and marketing talent in the domain.
In 2007, he merged his firm with Sales Consultants to create one of the most experienced search firms in North America. The combined organizations offer almost 100 years of combined recruiting experience which has created an unparalleled candidate database and working relationships with the top sales and marketing producers in the technology space.
Doug’s clients include some of the largest and fastest growing enterprise software companies in North America. She has always provided superior recruitment services in a timely manner while matching clients’ requirements with candidates’ career goals yielding long term success for both parties. She has exceeded quota virtually every year and is a perennial pacesetter.
She is a recognized leader in the recruiting field, with a large network of hiring managers in the technology domain and working relationships with some of the top producers in the space.

Since joining Strategic Sales Search in 2012, Josh has been placing the best sales talent in the software industry. Josh has helped build the Software Applications practice and is known industry-wide in Cloud, SAAS, SCM, ERP, BI & Analytics, Social Media, and Digital Advertising.
He’s had significant success placing senior sales executives, individual sales contributors, channels, alliances, and business development executives. Josh has also filled many executive management searches for SVP’s of Sales throughout the technology industry.
Josh has a very straightforward, direct approach to scouring, assessing, and delivering talent that has produced incredible results for his clients. He feels his style and confidence earns the trust of his clients and his delivery of results earns him long-term partnerships.

Harlan has been recruiting software sales and pre-sales people for almost 20 years. He has been working remotely with Strategic Sales search for the past 8 years. Harlan has a unique ability to find qualified candidates that are not actively on the market. Having owned his own sales agency (2 Market) he has sold software himself and understands what makes a good sales rep. He works most verticals and at every level from Account Executive to VP.
Harlan has a very direct approach to finding top talent that stems from his ability to understand what his clients are looking for in a top candidate. He gets on the phone and gets the job done. Harlan has contacts throughout North America in a wide variety of software disciplines.
As a member of the Technology team at Strategic Sales Search since 2015, Kayla currently manages all research for that practice area. She is responsible for the development of the “search roadmap” for the majority of our search projects, and oversees all of our database activity, original sourcing and use of the Web tools. Kayla handles as many as 5-15 searches concurrently and plays and instrumental role in the success of the firm’s top producers.
Nicole joined the firm in 1995. She and her practice partners manage projects, placing Sales, Pre-Sales Engineers, Sales Management and Marketing talent for technology firms including hardware, software, and IT consulting organizations. Their client list includes some of the most recognizable logos in the technology domain. Nicole graduated with a degree in Business Administration; and a concentration in Marketing. She began her career with Strategic Sales Search as a Researcher and rapidly moved up the ranks to her current position.
Director of Administration
Pam is clearly one of the reasons we have enjoyed such outstanding results. She is the glue that holds us together and is in charge of making sure our first impression with candidates and companies is a good one. Pam is also responsible for the firm’s technology management. Her duties include: development and management of digital media used to successfully market our services to client companies; development of broad advertisement and search techniques to sources qualified candidates.
